And Day 12 of My 12 Days of Headwraps!
Happy National Headwrap Day! A little history on Headwraps; Without deep research (which means I asked Google 😊), I discovered that Headwraps originated in Sub-Saharan Africa in the early 1700s. They are basically worn to show social status, at religious events, and to protect the hair from the sun.
My sisters and friends mostly wear them because we either didn’t have time or just didn’t know what to do to our hair. So, some days it’s about style, some days it’s about, “Girl, my hair is a mess.”

This brings my Headwrap challenge to an end. I thought for sure I would miss a day. Most days I cut it close, but as long as I got a post in before 12 midnight, I made my mark.
Thank you all for following along, the likes and the comments.
Peace, Love, Blessings & Happy Headwrapping.
